im just interested if anyone still play this game? The old RO1

No, because the old RO is dead. It became corrupted in time and only cares about money now. Might as well play on a private server.

I used to play Ragnarok Online but that was a lot time ago like 5 or 6 years dont remember, and it was good, I used to play on a unoficial server because at that time it was free, and the exp rates was at medium so you dont take tooo long to lvl up.

but for some reason the servers had to restart and everything was errased and if you want to keep playing you need to start from the begining.

I was to lazy to start all over again because I had a lot of chars to play with so I left..

 

but now since the new jobs came out I kind of want to play again just to see the new job classes

Maybe not in your country but ours, it's pretty much dead. They only care about money now. Almost every veteran (played since 2002) in our country switched to private servers. It's no longer the same...

im not talking about my country im actually saying this on the official server that is WarpPortal and its linked to steam

if you download the game from steam it will ask you to make an account on warpportal server

I'm not talking about the one on Steam. What Ragnarok I meant was our official Philippine Ragnarok Online.

I play iRO (the one on steam), though I haven't been on in awhile.

Tried to play the one on Steam. Somehow they made the game boring compared to 10 years ago. I played a private server with a closer feel to the original one.

Doesn't the steam version have 2 servers? Classic and Renewal, classic being the original version?

that I dont know I never played on the philipine server, but I played on korean, USA, and latin american servers and those servers they have alot of users playing.

what I like about RO1 is that they continue to update the game, they add stuff, new worlds new jobs, new bosses, new quests and more

thats why there are ppl still playing, like I said Dont know about philippine server

 

and for example there are games that they just abandon, I use to play ROSE online and that game is so unfinished it lacks of content and it supposed to be 7 worlds wich only 3 or 4 are working ROSE = Rush On Seven Episodes but still there are ppl playing that game

I dunno which one I joined, but it had a buttloads of quests and dialog windows.

Played ROSE a long time ago, didn't know which server it was but I remember people duplicating gems and gave all the lvl 1s a massive stat boost.

I use to have a mage but, later I switch to a cleric I made it to lvl 210 and then I made a Bourgeois for farming, then I made a Raider for PVP but that I never finished I got to lvl 140 

 

I made a lot of friends and my clan was in purple grade 7, it took us a life farming clan points
