I've a Dell Inspiron 15 5567
Service Tag: 42S8QC2
Express Service Code: 8875498322

Specs: Intel i7 - 7th Gen 7500u processor, 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) Dual Channel Ram sticks, AMD R7 M445 GPU

OS: Windows 10 Version 2004

 

I've noticed that while gaming the shared memory (16 GB) allotted is not being used. Can anyone guide me how to Enable it or fix it?

 

and Also is it possible to use an external GPU via the tray load DVD drive / SD Card Slot of the laptop?

Shared GPU memory probably mean that the GPU has 4GB onboard and it uses an extra 16GB of system memory for a total of 20GB.

The extra memory will be used only when the 4GB are depleted 

 

External GPUs usually go to the mini-pcie slot where the WiFi is. The DVD is SATA and the memory card is probably usb
