So I've posted a lot in this community, but decided the best way to build a computer is to just look for a local store. I found the parts and linked them to

PCPartPicker Part List
Type Item Price
CPU AMD Ryzen 3 3200G 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor $100.63
Motherboard Asus PRIME B450M-K Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $102.45
Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory $56.99
Storage Crucial P2 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $77.61
Case GAMDIAS Talos P1 ATX Mid Tower Case $82.72
Power Supply Deepcool 500 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $47.66
Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts
  Total $468.06
  Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-07-19 13:36 EDT-0400

The price has been matched to the price of the store I'm getting this at. Is this a good build? I'm not planning on gaming on it, just some work. Also, after doing the calulcaution the bill should've came out to about 470 USD but instead came to 540 USD so I contacted the store about this error, so I'm kind of scared to go through with this as it's probbaly over-priced. Budget? anything with RGB and below 500 USD. Oh, and the memory stick I chose had RGB on it but couldn't find it at PcPartPicker so I picked the closet thing, I found a CORSAIR DDR4 3000MHz 8GB 1x 288 DIMM,Vengeance R | CMW8GX4M1D3000C16.

The reason the bill came out higher is because of sales tax.

The only thing I see that's wrong with your configuration is that you aren't running the memory in dual channel, which means that you are leaving a significant amount of performance on the table. A 8x2 16gb kit costs about $10 more for literally double the memory.

Also, if this is simply an office PC and you have no reason to ever stick a GPU in it, you can save a absolute ton of money if you use the AsRock Deskmini a300 barebones. Comes with PSU, Motherboard, Case (of course), and a wifi antenna for $150.

Yeah but the store I checked with didn't have dual 4x2 RGB ram so I got stuck with this. Also their 4gb Ram and 8gb Ram is only like 10 dollar or less difference so like thats a steal.
Checked out the PC, seems great but I want a cool looking case with some RGB on it.

If your cool looking case is worth the extra $100 to you, do whatever.

You need to run in dual channel, so just buy this:

Onboard graphics with a single memory is also a problem. You have a micro itx, just buy a cheaper case, don't buy 77$ m.2 for a budget build, but a 20-30$ ssd and buy a GPU. A 1650-1660 is better than onboard

With Tortox Neon v2 case.

This was priced at around 520 USD. Is it worth it?

I still wouldn't say it's worth it if you are just looking for an APU system and never want to install a graphics card, but if you want to add a dGPU one day it's pretty good for the price in the PCPP list. Where did you manage to get the 520USD price from? Is your case really $100?

No, the case was worth 50 but the guy wants another 50 as a profit for selling the parts, I'll have to install them myself (Cause I want to experience PC building and also know my own system). Also, after doing some research, I noticed that the case has no exhaust fan so I'll have to add one.

1. get faster memory set up in dual channel. ryzen really benefits from it.

2. 8gb ram is considered the minimum now for gaming. the more, the better.

3. do you really want to sacrifice performance for how your pc looks? its your money, dont take it in the wrong way, im just asking

😕

All of those parts appear to be new prices on the PCPP list, and you can easily buy them new for that price. A little more for the 3200g, a little less for the motherboard. You can just buy everything new and tell the guy with his used parts never mind. It would actually end up being cheaper buying everything brand new.

All the parts are new lol, I meant that he is selling me the (new) parts because we don't have a store that sells the "Budget" PC that aren't office PCs

you could go for this, do note that it has no rgb whatsoever, but at this kind of budget thats the compromise you'll have to make for better performance. its your choice, aesthetics or performance.

do note that the price for the processor isnt listed, it will cost you an extra 100$

😕

This pc isn't meant for gaming yet so yes I'll sacrifice performance for looks because eventually I will upgrade it to a gaming PC,

I'm not interested in gaming with this right now because I already have a gaming laptop so I have no need for a graphics card now,

Seems like your best option then. Thanks for adding your location. I suppose you have to bite the bullet and buy it, you don't really have any other options.

Well..I found this local-ish site, their prices seem nice but their ram is over-priced.

https://oman.microless.com/

This is what I chose so far

All their prices seem pretty good but I'm not a fan of their ram selections and prices so I think I'll look for that part somewhere else but everything else looks good-ish. Check them out and see what you recommend. (Might change the case tho, not a fan of the rockstar thing but I'm cheap.

Yup, seems good to me. I didn't do the price conversion for everything, but just looking at the part selection it seems fine to me.

ِAlright, I appreciate your help and suggestions. I'll chose a better case and buy the items today. :)
