Mouse pointer drifting while mouse in motion

Hi all,

 

Been having this issue for 5 years now and would greatly appreciate the help.

 

This issue is happening on serveral rigs, multiple mice and different houses.

 

If i move my mouse from side to side, the cursor will always drift upwards. 

I have tested this on an older machine running XP and can confirm this issue is not present on that.

 

I have turned off acceleration, cstates, tried markc, multiple rigs, monitors, mice, and surfaces.

Present from day 1, in safe mode and after multiple clean reinstalls.

 

This makes playing fps games impossible due to bring completely unable to develop muscle memory as the mouse movement is inconsistent.

 

At this point i am all but certain this is an OS issue, having ruled out a majority of other variables like emi, rfi etc..

 

Specs on the main rig are

 

Asus strix-f z390

2080ti

I9 9900kf

32gb ddr4 3600mhz

 

Please, someone help.
