Snowball/ Looking for Headset

Champion-Craig
Go to solution Solved by ShearMe,

Problem? I could use Americans retailers as well, I have buddy who can pick it up for me.

I wasn't at a computer at time of post - Canada's headphone pricing is absolutely ridiculous. If you've got a buddy to drag stuff over the border for you, that'd be the better option.

Cheap - NXG NX-HTDJ + V-MODA BoomPro - the headphones sound good and the padding is comfortable, but the headband is rather small and overall build is pretty cheap (hence the price tag)

Not Cheap - Pioneer SE-A1000 + AntLion ModMic - open headphones = good sound stage for positional accuracy in games. Bass can be a lacking for music in some people's opinions, but not completely devoid.

I told my friend I wanted to get a better quality microphone, he recommended the Blue Snowball. But, since this isn't attached to my head, i'm worried it will pick up my Cherry MX Blue's more then my voice. I really want either a good sounding mic or a new headset all together. To the people of Linus Tech Tips, any product suggestions? Any input? Thanks.
