That FLIR camera is an expensive peice of equipment and also a very useful one when used properly. What I am seeing though indicates that maybe you did not send anyone to get trained on using it properly. Please do. Having taken my thermography ticket it hurts to see you do it the way you do. Maybe send Jake? I took my ticket through ITM. One big thing you are not doing is placing black electrical tape on surfaces, especially ones that are thermally reflective. Black electrical tape provides a good medium for taking thermal readings as it's thermal reflectivity is low and it's emissivity is near 1 (on a scale of 0-1). That isn't all you learn of course but the fact that your taking thermals of glass without doing that shows that your thermals are potentially completely inaccurate.

Pretty universal fact is that unless their staff has training before getting job, they are just winging everything. And that part of the entertainment, part of the cringe.
