I bought a quest today and my computer specs are: i7-2600K, RTX2060, 2X4 DDR3 Ram, and i have a bunch of usb 2.0 and 3.1 but not any USB - C. I have readed that the charger out of the box can be connected to the computer for PCVR. The charger is USB - C from both sides so i have quite long time now an adaptor from 3.1 USB male to USB - C female and i use it for some earbuds that i have. However for the Oculus Link it doesn't work when trying to connect it (Doesn't get detected at all). And the thing is that the quest does actually charge when i connect it with that way to my computer. Any ideas? I hope i don't have to spend extra money i have already tried to reinstall stuff and loads of stuff.

This is a USB 2.0 adapter, might want a USB 3.0 one.

Also make sure both the headset and the PC software are fully updated, before the latest update Link could not be used with USB 2.0 so the stock cable was not usable.

K so I went and bought a USB 3.1 to USB C and for some reason it still sees it as USB 2.0 due to the speed. I believe it has to do with my motherboard that all my USB 3.0 won't work properly? Some of the USB ports can't see them at all. some photos of the cable and the ports that are high speed any ideas? I tried checking the drivers on device management for updates and nope. My motherboard is SABERTOOTH P67

No, it's that as I mentioned earlier the stock cable is USB2 only, not USB3.

But it works with the latest updates, they added support for USB2. At least you get a connection now.
