So I built my first PC in late 2018 and have had it since then. Everything ran completely fine. I used to run overclocked on CPU and RAM until I realized the benefits were pretty minimal and dialed everything back to stock speeds, as of recently. However, for the past few days, I've had various issues with booting. Here's how the process usually is.

1) Turn on PC
2) PC freezes on splash screen

3) Shutdown PC

4) Turn on PC again

5) Message pops up about how PC posted in safe mode

6) Press F1 to enter BIOS

7) Press F10 to exit BIOS and enter Windows 10

I attempted completely clearing the CMOS but that didn't fix the issue. In addition, my clock was completely wrong in Windows 10, which I suspect may be an issue with the firmware (BIOS). Anyone know how to solve the issue? Maybe it's the motherboard?
