Disk partition fail

Hey,

 

So today I installed win8 64bit pro on my laptop.

 

Although I partitioned off 50 gig off of my hdd for the OS, I remember I could fix this before but I had forgotten.

My drive is 500Gb of space, fyi

If you're reinstalling windows be sure to unplug other hard drives

You probably have some errors on your HDD. Try this....

1) open My Computer

2) Right click your C drive and select properties 

3) Click on the Tools tab of the properties window

4) Click check now tab on the properties window

5) Check both boxes on the Check Disk Local Disk (C:) window

6) restart your PC and let the errors be fixed and then try to partition after the process is over.
