So my problems are that every once in a while, it's not that common I would  say like once per game I get a frame drop for like a second, but it is MAJOR, like it drops to like 3 during one sec, the other one is while I'm loading maps it sometimes stops responding for a second, usually comes back, but some times I've had to re launch, I haven't done anything yet, I'm about to verify game files and if that doesn't work I'll re-install my drivers, it's been happening since the last patch, so my guess was that the patch caused instability, but is anybody else getting this? is there a fix that isn't verifying game files or re-installing drivers?

How so? I hardly ever hear about these kinds of problems.

Verify game files, check CPU and GPU stability (CS is somewhat CPU intensive), and try locking the framerate via console commands(NOT v-sync)..

I think locking it at the tickrate is kind of dumb even though lots of people do it. I lock mine at 120 to match the refresh rate of my monitor. In other words G-Sync without the module.

They say it used to make a difference back in like 1.6, but valve said that is doesn't really make enough difference to matter, but I don't lose anything by having it locked at the tickrate so I just have it there just because.
