can't get into Windows

I turn my computer on everything seems fine when I get to the windows 7 64bit screen where i type in my password the resolution seems to be reset and my mouse and keyboard will not work I'm just stuck there.the backlights light turn on so I assume they're getting power. they are both USB devices along with my  headset.(a g15 keyboard. mmo wow mouse. and g35 headset) other information you might need i boot to a 840 pro ssd have 1TB hhd for storage a 4670k a 780gtx on a ASUS Maximus hero

Your last shutdown, did Windows install updates?

I'm not 100 percent but more than likely yes

try reboot into safe mode and restoring to a recent restore point.

You can also run "sfc /scannow" with out quotes from a admin cmd.

If you have a windows repair disk boot from that and ask it to auto detect start up issues.

thank you for the help. I ended up plugin a old ps2 keyboard which ended up not only working in the UEFI like all my USB ones did but it worked in the windows repair tool which allowed me to use a system restore point and that fix the problem for now. 

now that I fix the issue what do I do with this post?
