PC Suddenly Turns Off

Hi, my pc suddenly turned off while I'm using it. Then, when I turned it on the hard disk isn't detected. I got panicked because I think the hdd is now broken but I can still the hdd is spinning.

 

This was what I'm doing before the crazy thing happened.I was using my computer to install things and delete a lot of files because I haven't used it for about 2 months. I turned it on and off many times because when i opened a program it crashed and came to black screen.

 

Cananyone tell me how come this thing happens? Is the hdd really broken? Could it be fixed?  I'm so panicked and I can't find solutions. There are so many data in my HDD.
