I am trying to boot Ubuntu, i have not done this before, but in bios when I choose my flash drive as a boot device it doesn't work. What else would you like to know? I really need help thanks.

don leave me! So I don't have any fans connected because it uses 5 pin, and I didnt have the effort to move more ram into it.

it would appear the machine is very much not assembled correctly from a hardware standpoint if it's missing fans and doesn't even have a battery to keep the date and time.

Without assembling the machine correctly you wouldn't expect it to stay running even if the os was working.  solve the issues it lists first.

I set the time months ago before it sat in my closet. doesnt make sense on how there not being a hard drive fan stops me from booting from a USB flash drive. I'm about to give up on this pos. Every time I try and make ona these budget pc solutions work it doesnt.
