Upgrade

Hey everyone, thanks for clicking

 

im looking at upgrading my failing GPU

(660ti, it’s old and served me very well)

 

there’s a couple GPUs up in my local area to pick up second hand. 
 

current pc specs 

i5 3570k

asrock extreme4 mobo

450w Corsair PSU

660ti

16gb generic RAM

 

the options I have on hold are

 

EVGA GTX 950 - 40$ CAD

Zotac GeForce GTX 1650 - 100$ CAD

 

mostly play MOBA games and some older AAA titles, light content creation aswell

 

What would be my best option at this point

What about a used 570/470 or a 580 /480

What are they priced at ?

The 950 is way better value, even though that's a pretty good price on the 1650, all things considered.

It’s pending sale; I’m next in line for the 950. 
 

the 1650 new is around 250

 

@TofuHaroto they never seem to come up in my area, and when they do a 580 used is at approx 200$~ CAD

Then go with the 950

There’s actually an Asus strix rx 570

up for 125$, I might be able to get him down to 100

Would it be better than getting the 1650?

Wattage wise it is

Depends on what Corsair PSU.

They're close to each other but a 570 is somewhat faster and has a bigger frame buffer ( assuming it's the 8 gig model )

Probably best to see if I can get the 950 then, I don’t need a sizeable upgrade tbh the 660ti does like 150+ frames on league w/ all high settings

My PSU is a cx450m,

450w semi modular. 
 

the guy has told me he’ll drop price from 125$ down to 110$...

 

It’s the 4GB card, though.
