Windows 8.1 Boot Error

When ever I boot up my drive with Windows 8.1 Pro on I cannot enter the OS as I am stuck on a never ending black screen. Before all this happened I was having my computer checked out by Microsoft Support as I was having trouble activating W8.1, now that they have fixed it and activated Windows I cannot enter the OS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

When you say a balck screen, do you see the mouse?

Fail the system to boot 3 times (basically power off when Win8.1 is booting). This will give you the option to go in Safe Mode.

Does Safe Mode works?
