RAM : Hardware Problems were detected??

Go to solution Solved by EXTRADODO,

Seems like the RAM kit itself is faulty. I’m gonna test with different RAMs tomorrow.

Thanks guys.

So, after a few weeks of trials and errors, I finally think of recent BSOD might be hardware problem and start with RAM and boom! “Hardware problems were detected” in Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool. (Image is in Japanese. Sorry...)

It’s still running and I’m hoping someone would tell me what I should do next when this’s finished. Any ideas?

I’m not sure what that’s it. Can you tell me what should be doing?

It's short for "Direct Over Clock Profile"  that enables target RAM frequency/timings.

I didn't find it in your motherboard manual, but there should be DOCP or D.O.C.P near your CPU settings in BIOS.

I’ve enabled just the XMP2.0 profile. There were no auto over clock options for RAM other than that.

You might want to run memtest86 or the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool now again, of course. Maybe it helped...

im curious

how did you come up with that conclusion ?

I'm not 100% sure but the result from Windows memory diagnostic tool says that both sticks have bad sectors that causes errors.
I had the same problem with my office PC a while back. I didn't diagnostic anything back then but swapped out the RAMs fixed the problem.

I've used PSU with cables from different brands and got my cables and rgb hub fried.
Maybe, just maybe, that fried my ram too?

Again, I'm not 100% sure.

@TofuHaroto Hi there. I would like to update a bit about my current state.

I swapped out the RAM and run a Memory Diagnostic Tool again.
No faulty were detected with the new RAM. *Finally!*

And reset the whole PC (not a clean install with USB stick).

For a while, there were no problems.

So, I downloaded Chrome, Nvidia Geforce Experience, iCue and installed the necessary drivers and settings.

Everything run smooth except when I'm trying to browse Youtube and access violation happened and BOOM!

"Memory Management" with a big BSOD.

I don't know the cause of that BSOD but nothing like that happens till this morning (12hours later since that bsod).

I have a feeling that will happen again. I need to fix this! HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clear the cmos

Get rid of any sort of over clock.

@TofuHaroto Actually, I've cleared the CMOS just after installing new RAMs.
I don't overclock anything but I'm not sure whether the motherboard has auto overclock at stock.

I'm using Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO.
I have another Intel PC with Z390 Aorus series has something like CPU upgrade bla bla bla profile which was set on default.

I’m sorry to bring that up again, but I have the exactly same problem, did the clean installation worked for you?
