7950 overclock

Hello, i have a xfx radeon 7950.

i have been abel to reach 1175 on the core and 6000mhz on the memory.

i have turned the voltage up to 1.25.

is that a good overclock?

Pretty good imo, not golden but good enough. I get same clock at same voltage.

 

Now run some benchmark to make sure it give you performance gain instead of drop.

It is good enough, just make sure you are actually getting a performance improvement, because sometimes overclocking past a certain point gives performance drops and may cause instability in the longer run. I would recommend running 3DMark Vantage, because it is a great way to check if the overclock is stable and beneficial.
