Intel i7-97ooKF

MSI RTX 2080 super

Z390-A Pro Gaming

Bios is version 1.80

MSI 120mm AIO

MPG GUNGNIR case

750watt PSU

System will gradually start to climb in temps while playing games until it shuts off. My CPU has gotten to almost 90c and my GPU has gotten to 90c. I've got 3 120mm case fans for intake and then one 120mm for an exhaust. If I take my tempered glass off the system still gets rather warm. I've checked drivers I did try to install the latest Bios from MSI and the update screen wouldn't show it on my flash drive (tried 3 of them) I had a very close friend say that it sounds like the MOBO is bad was just hoping to get others input before buying a new one. Thanks in advance.

it is of course possible that the mboard is not outputting correct voltage for the fans but this is extremely unlikely, i would check your fan curves first to see what is happening.  a couple of questions, what is the ambient temperature and what cooler are you using on your cpu?
