Hey guys,

since my phone (Sony Xperia U) is really laggy pretty much all the time, I was thinking about upgrading. I don't really pay a lot of attetion to mobile market, but I want to spend around €200, €300 max only if it was really worth it. There are several nice phones in this category, the Moto G (€220), Galaxy S III (€250), Galaxy S IV Mini (€250) and the Nexus 4 (€290). I'm basically lookng for a phone that can run an LWP, Skype online in the background and doing some stuff on Chrome or playing some games. Currently I'm leaning towards the Moto G, is that the way to go or should I rather buy one of the others?

Also is there a way to make my current phone more responisive? I've tried factory reset, didn't help. I think it's a fundamental problem, it has just 512MB RAM and that apparently isn't enough for the Android 4.0 and 854x480 res it has.

No money for that :( I know that technically $350 would be in my budget but the hard truth is they start at €360 here.

Have you tried flashing Cyanogenmod on it instead of the stock ROM? Usually it makes everything smoother and gets rid of tonnes of bloatware.

Doesn't that void the warranty? It still has half a year warranty and I want to sell it.
