Windows 10 installation error

So I got Win 10 installation onto a usb (I did the setup), put boot priority to the usb, and when it booted nothing happened, and it just stayed at a black screen with a blinking underscore on the top left corner, I left it like that for a couple hours, nothing. 

This is my first ever PC build so it is shabby, I didn't want to work with expensive parts, just in case something happens.

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16 ghz 64-bit

Asrock ConRoe1333-D667

HDD Hitachi 320gb 7200 rpm Model HITACHI HDS721032CLA362

4 gb ddr2 ram (yes ik its painful)

Nvidia gtx 550ti

Well guess what, I left it on one more time for half an hour or so, and the installation began. huh
