I am building a workstation computer specifically to use Unity to make games and simulations. I am looking for a good GPU. The GPU must have quad-buffering. I am looking at the gtx cards or the Quadro cards. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. There will be much stereoscopic 3D rendering and gaming. (Ideally the card will be priced around $600-$1000)

Also any CPU advise would also be great. I'm stuck between sockets 1150 and 2011.

Thanks!

Well it depends if you are doing this for a living or not. If putting food on your plate depends on it, a quadro and a 2011 based processor would be worth the price, but for casual work and play anything like a gtx 770+ and i7 4770+ would be ideal :)
