You realise I'm talking about a 3600 right? not the X SKU. Plus he had his at 4.2Ghz all core?? That's bloody below the boost clock on a normal X SKU.

Edit: Going past spec is ocing (well if we're talking about in the realm of RAM that it's more or so tuning)

I don't as well but common sense should tell you that it isn't necesarrily an "overclock". Also just in time my friend got 494 WITH PBO on his 3900x. (300, 300, 10) even with the PBO bug (300, 230, 230 gave worse results).

This guy here overclocked his with plenty of time to find his maximum clocks, Jay made a review with a time limit, very different.

My best single was 518-519 (Variation within R20 probably) and my best multi was 4030-4052 (Variation again).
