System crash while attempting overclocking

See that box in the first picture that says "CPU voltage"? Bump that up a few notches until you get a stable overclock. Make sure you look up the maximum voltage for your CPU, which in this case I believe is 1.5 volts.  You don't really want to get any father than 1.45 or else you might risk damage to your cpu or motherboard.

Alright guys, so I am running a relatively new system that i just put together last month, and earlier today I decided that I would attempt overclocking. Now, I have never overclocked before, so this could be my fault, however, I wanted to check with the forum knowledge just to make sure. Anyway, system specs:

(also with a super embarrassingly weak Sapphire HD 5450 gpu installed while I wait for my new gpu)

So, I was messing around with the built in "OC Tuner" software that Asrock includes with their motherboards, and I was only changing the cpu frequency. The problem that I ran into was that, multiple times, after surpassing 205, my computer would crash. Now, the first time I tried it I set it directly to 210, thinking it wouldn't be a problem, but my screen went fuzzy and I had to restart my computer. The second time, I think I had it set to 206, and it did the same thing. The third time, I set it to 204, everything seemed alright, I set it to 205, and everything seemed fine for a few seconds before my computer BSODed me. I don't know if it is the overclocking utilities fault or something else, but I have seen another guy that also has an fx 6300 on the same board, and he has his system OC'd to 4.5Ghz. If you guys have any idea why this happens and any suggestions on how I should PROPERLY OC my system (since I am a noob at it and frankly have no idea what I am doing,) any help would be appreciated.

Make sure when you OC it you're giving it enough voltage. The clock could be unstable with the voltage its getting. You could also be clockkng it too high.

No sorry, I just figured out what it is. It is a number in the OC tuner software that is supposed to be multiplied by the "cpu multiplier" option below it. The software is very strange; it has options to adjust the "cpu frequency" (my base here is 200) and the "cpu multiplier" (the cpu multiplier multiplies whatever number the "cpu frequency" is.) (in my case the numbers are 200 and 17.5, so 200*17.5=3500, which is supposed to be my base cpu clock.)

I would find the max safe voltage for your CPU (so you don't break it) and slowly add a little bit of voltage until it's stable.

Yes but that doesn't help at all if I don't know how to do that :D

Ok, and then do I adjust the cpu frequency, or just leave it as- is?

 I'd recommend finding a stable voltage for your current overclock and leaving it at that, and you should be alright.
