Define "user friendly"... usually how easy it is to interface with a database depends on the framework you're using. If you're using none then you need to send raw queries and you'll need to learn how databases work - none is especially simple compared to the others.

You can look into things like firebase, aws or azure cloud stuff. They have various features like storing files, database stuff and possibly other ways to store data, most of them tend to be free on small scale and start costing money when you scale up. They have pretty simple api's you can call, so it's a quick way to get started. Then you can consider if you want to write your own backend later on.
