RGB controller

quake99

So I want to put some addressable RGB fans in my case but unfortunately I am using the ASUS ROG Strix B450-F motherboard which only has 2 12v rgb headers. So is there a way for me to use a controller that preferably uses the standard 3pin 5v connector for the RGB but connects to the motherboard via USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 headers so that I can use software to have custom lighting effects? I already use Asus Aura for the Motherboard, MSI mystic light for the GPU and Razer Synapse for my peripherals, so I would prefer if I didn't have to use a 4th software but i am not 100% against it.

Thanks

have a look at the corsair commander pro, allows you to have up to 6 RGB fans, and can do RGB strips too

Does that use the standard 3pin 5v header for the rgb or no?

No, Corsair, Thermaltake and NZXT use proprietary connectors. Your options are EK Loop Connect and Asus Aura Terminal. Or you can buy adapter from Deepcool.
