Need a laptop from amazon.

Hey guys, I;ve decided to can my custom water cooling idea because I need a laptop, badly. I have a 13" MacBook Pro atm running Ubuntu 13.10 and I plan to wipe it, install mavericks, and send it off to amazon. I expect to get $400-$450 from amazon because I have the original box, manual, etc. and it's in good condition. Best case is $473 according to amazon trade-in.

 

Anyway I can't spend more that $700-$850 on this laptop, and I want it from amazon (preferably Prime eligible but it doesn't really matter).

 

What I need is a windows laptop with an i5 or i7, and dedicated graphics. 8GB of RAM would be nice, but I'll accept 4GB as long as I can upgrade it. I'll also need a large hard disk, again i'll be fine with a small one (500GB) as long as I'll be able to upgrade it later. 1TB+ is preferable. As far as the graphics, they don't need to be the best. I want to be able to run my games, at good frame-rates (45-60). Not nesecarily at highest settings either, but better than on integrated. Longer battery life would be appreciated, too, but it isn't nescesary because I'll be mostly running it as a secondary desktop and a LAN machine. The screen doesn't need to be great either, preferable 1080p though. Lastly, thinness and beauty isn't something I really care about.

 

As you can see, I'm kind of loose with my requirements, but I want the best laptop I can get in my price range, which is also flexible. I'll pay a little more if it's worth is, (like if it's $50 more than my range) but that's the general range,

I would recommend an SSD over the slow laptop HDD

For that range i doubt you will get over a 755m or maybe a 760m so dont get too hyped regarding gpu horsepower.

You might want to check how the 740m performs, I find gaming laptops pointless so I don't really keep my knowledge up on their specs.

I've looked at a few reviews on various tech websites, and based on the benchmarks and framerates it'll be just fine.
