High Ping

Xtrentical

I am using the TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000 PCIe WiFi Card, and no matter what I do my pings starts to jump back up. I have tried changing registry settings, update drivers, and nothing is working. I noticed that every time I do a fresh install of Windows 10 the problem seems to go away, but randomly comes back. I have been experiencing this problem for years no matter what wireless card I use. I think I have dialed it down to driver conflicts, but I am not completely sure. I know it's an internal issue with windows 10. The driver I am using: Intel(R) Wi-fi 6 AX200 160mhz, and it comes pre installed in windows 10. Really need guidance.

Are you sure it's a real problem? Google has tons of servers world wide, maybe you are just pinging one that is far away? You don't have to ping IP, you can just type

ping google.com

Or better test with some local website.

Crazy idea.. I have had a few instances where I have had this happen, and it was solved by going into ncpa.cpl (The Network Adapters Screen), Right Clicking the wireless card and going into properties. Click Install, Protocol, and select Reliable Multicast Protocol.
