Hi!

I was hoping to get some of advice from anyone who can help me :?  I'm new to building computers and all my guy friends said I should build one instead of buy one. The problem I'm having is there is so many different version of the same exact thing >< I really don't know what I'm doing.

I have keyboard, mouse, and 2 1080p 23" monitors. I'm trying to build a gaming computer on a budget of about 1250 dollars U.S. I'm in Florida... and have prime and I don't know what else helps ><...

I've liked Nvidias and Intel in the past but alot of the builds here recommend AMD and Radeon... and I just don't know the difference well enough to make a real decision....

I understand how pc part picker works but outside of organizing it by reviews I don't know really how to tell whats best for the money :/

THANK YOU for any suggestions!!!!

use a screw driver, spend an hour putting it together and 3 hours doing cable mangement. use zip ties, don't dry hump your carpet and then touch PC components.

http://pcpartpicker.com/

you will most likely use a 780 with an 8350 and 990FX board.

Maybe this was the wrong place to get suggestions on where to begin building a computer, components, etc.... :/

Sorry I wasted your time......

As long you meet the three criteria stated above and select either an Hyper 212 evo or 240mm AIO, or high end air cooler the rest of the parts are mostly arbitrary.

You also need to wait more than 3 minutes, the forum isn't instant and paid tech support and consulting.

cba to do a build, a someone else will run along and give you one soon enough.

Also please quote or @username tag people, or they likely won't reply unless they follow.

It wasn't that it was the humping the carpet comment before you editted it to say anything of value.....made it feel like maybe I went into a boys club and I was just going to get a "go make a sandwich" crack instead of advice... :/ sorry for mis-reading your original post.

budget.

price to performance is superior with an 83xx chip.

intels just over priced for the budget the amd 8350 gives my 4670k a run for my money in my opinion your still going to get amazing performance to price with it

Touch the computer case from time to time. Don't wanna Zap yourself OR your parts. Let me warn you now, as this is your first build, it will take a while to figure out what goes where. As for parts... it depends on your personal preference. I like intel and NVIDIA and that is what i rolled with. Honestly, it is what you think is better. Yeah, that is all I got.

Watching these will help you immensly on how to pick out your parts and how to put them together. Even if you already have your build, watching them is still really informative, especially if you're just starting out.

Here you go  :)

Also If you have a microcenter near you you are golden

btw the 780 is from EVGA B-stock which is refurbished and comes with no accesories(you don't need them) but don't worry you get a one year warrenty and EVGA is known for its quality and customer service.
