On the 2080 super build it says Warning! Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

Nope, most boards BIOS have been updated, if it hasn't AMD will send you a CPU so you can do a BIOS update.
