under performing computer

So my problem is that I built my computer for gaming and it can do all the normal stuff like watching youtube and twitch and all that stuff but it cant run any games. I am trying to play things like fortnite and valorent and both the games just crash and I have tried overclocking but I turned them off as it did not help and its not my drivers either i have tried that. i am not sure if its my hardware or my software. If anybody could help me out i would really appreciate it :).

Did you actually build this PC or is it a prebuilt? XMP is in the BIOS, check YT for a video for how to step by step.

 

Same with Eventviewer.  Google the errors.  Then we can help once it';s narrowed down.

It is not prebuilt I built it myself with some help from other people because this is my first build.

Refollow your build guide that you used, like Bitwit or Pauls' videos.  They cover XMP as well.

sorry for the late reply but i have rebuilt my computer multiple times already and turned on XMP now but nothing has changed. soon I am upgrading to a ryzen 3700x and hopefully an rtx 2060 super so that may fix it
