Wondering if it's logical to order something like this(AT2020 mic) when it's mostly going to be used for VOIP chat no music production or something like podcasts. Don't want a headset

Only going to be turned on while gaming and going to use push to talk anyways no big issue

Your money, your choice. But compression in COIP means that any $15 table mic can do same.
