Stuck in bios

I have a friend who recently built a PC. He then moved apartments and when trying to set up his PC in his new place it is stuck in bios. “You have not made any changes to the Bios settings” pops up when he tries to exit it. I don’t know how to help him so any tips would be appreciated.

I can, I agree with you and am questioning why he didnt do something so glaringly obvious in the first place. Now that I read it though, I see how it could be misinterpreted as questioning your comment.

maybe try changing something like enabling xmp or turning on something harmless like svm
