TCL 55S25 Issue

Hello masses,

 

I purchased this TCL television less than 2 or 3 months ago, it's had this issue since I purchased it.

 

On *some* content creator's videos, I am seeing a weird flicker. From what I can tell, maybe it's resolution? HDR? I really am not sure. I am posting here in part because... It happens on almost every single LTT video. I can watch 50+ videos in a row from a variety of channels. As soon as I watch an LTT video, this issue happens.

You'll notice the flicker only happens when LinusTechTIps or SnazzyLabs videos were played. Maybe 4K content is the issue?

Restarting the television seemingly fixes it. With the limited (no) control TCL gives you in apps over video settings, I can't do much to test say turning off HDR or anything like that.

 

Open to any suggestions/testing. The room has no other devices that could plug into the TV unfortunately, so I am not ready to test say a PC plugged in.
