look up online to see if upgrading is even an option. if yes, open it up and find the spot where you could fit a 2.5 inch drive and memory slots.

PC specs:

Ryzen 9 3900X overclocked to 4.3-4.4 GHz

Corsair H100i platinum

32 GB Trident Z RGB 3200 MHz 14-14-14-34

RTX 2060

MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge wifi

NZXT H510

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

2 TB WD hard drive

Corsair RM 750 Watt

you can replace the HDD with an SSD or get a larger 2.5in HDD they do have 5TB+ drives

I don't see any memory slots

I would agree but given the upgrade of a 2010 machine and the request for more storage I don't know that a large 2tb SSD is in the budget so I was mentioning both

this is why you post budget in the topic, lol. but, if you have a super old laptop, it might be better in the price range to get a new one instead of buying all new parts. depends on what the budget is, though.
