External ssd help

I have used a Samsung 970 Evo plus 500gb nvme ssd for about 6 months now. I have a system at home and a system at work, both are pc, and I want to take the Samsung ssd and use an external enclosure to bring the drive between work and home so I only have “1 system” so to speak. However, when using the drive (which is in my work computer) in the enclosure on my work computer, it doesn’t work. It says the system needs to be repaired, and the error code is 0xc0000225. And it says I need to use recovery tools. Why should I do? Also the drive has windows and all of my stuff on it already
