I would wait for the B550 motherboards to be back in stock, or just waiting for Ryzen 4000 and RTX 3000, but if you want it now, this is good -

Just make sure you buy a PWM splitter cable. The motherboard isn't bad, but it only has one case fan header, so you'll need a splitter or fan controller to connect more than one fan and have variable speed.

Alternatively - a little more over budget, but a way faster GPU. Upgrade priority should be another of the same RAM stick. You'll still need the splitter, honestly I'd just wait for b550 to be in stock and sub-100.

Not sure you know anything... Basically any SATA 3 SSD is at least 10 times faster than an HDD, but only 2x the price for the same amount of storage. Also RX 570 on a $600 budget while still no SSD? Get outta here.

When I went $28 over budget, I had basically the same CPU, a 1tb NVMe SSD, a 580, and a case that isn't cancer.

Recommending a 1TB HDD as a boot drive is a stupid idea, and it's more trouble to reinstall windows on an SSD when upgrading than to just buy a 500gb SSD for a similar price and expand storage later when needed.

Yes, it's a recommendation. It's a bad recommendation. A shitty 1TB mechanical drive as a boot drive in 2020 is a very bad recommendation. As is an R5 2600, when the 1600AF is basically the same chip for $40-50 less (MSRP is $80 but it hasn't been that low forever)

As is a $110 PSU in a $600 build, and failing to mention that the DS3H only has one case fan header... Which is a shitty surprise.

and right below my first post i recommended getting an ssd for a boot drive if you can read. if he is going to upgrade later some more wattage will be useful and the motherboard, sure is a piece of e-waste
