I'm planning to get a new PC, that's were I'm at at the moment:

CPU	AMD Ryzen 3 3300x
GPU	SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 256bit
MOBO	GIGABYTE B450M DS3H
RAM	Patriot Viper Steel 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz
PSU	Cooler Master Elite V3 600W GOLD
SSD	Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB
HDD	Seagate BarraCuda 3.5 2TB 7200rpm

I don't have any specific games I wan't to run. A little bit of everything. Any recommendations?

Looks fine, is the 2TB drives for games? If so a SSHD could help also known as Hybrid Drives. If for personal storage you should stick to normal HDD.

Is that the B+ tier PSU? I think it's gonna be good enough for a 5700XT but I am not sure. I do believe that RTG said you should use a 650w PSU.

my simalr system uses 400w max on 100% system stress test that is fine psu.

I am not saying it will not work I am just saying I am worried about long term, PSUs degrade over time and it may not be able to handle it down the road. (also RTG and most likely has reasons for saying 650w)

My 5700xt at 2ghz core and 1850mhz memory runs just fine on a 550w psu.

Was it a B+ tier PSU or higher? I have also yet to verify that the PSU we talk about here is the B+ tier.

It's pushing it, though. With a 550W, you're already at ~80% utilization, which is too high, and forget about upgrades. 650W would give some breathing room.

The 2TB HDD is kinda overkill, don't think I'll need that much. But I rather buy it now, that worry about storing (not games) files in the future.

Stick to HDD then that is tried and proven for file storage, hybrid drives is faster so I advice only to store games on them... The trade off is it may be less reliable!

I saw few benchmarks where the R3 3300x performs better that R5 1600/2600 in Games, where as the R5 1600/2600 performs better in streaming and operations that require more core power (more cores). Is that true?
