Overclocking Ryzen 7 3700X

Hi so I am building a new PC and my CPU of choice is the 3700X. Is the stock cooler that comes with it enough for me to overclock it? I will have 4 fans otherwise in the case. 2 in front for intake, 1 at the top, and 1 at the back -> exhaust.

A lot about luck. You could get a golden chip and oc easily with less voltage than some 3700X:s use at stock. Or you can get a bad one that needs a lot extra for even a small all-core oc.

You might be able to do it, some are reporting they can while others are reporting they can’t. You can always try it and if it doesn’t work, get a 3rd party cooler later.
