Sata question.

I apologize if this is the wrong thread. I am inexperience when building or working on computers. I am upgrading an older one with SSDs I will attach an image to better assist my question. I noticed the power cable for the hard drives as what appears to be an extra head for attachment split in the middle. Am I able to run two ssds off of one cable?
