Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming

The board that everybody likes, but that nobody should buy.

It has much weaker VRMs than boards cheaper than it. Unless you're getting it for a hefty discount, the b450 tomahawk Max is the superior choice

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

If you want a bit more performance for your money, I would go with this:

However, I understand the areas I have saved in (no rgb ram, cheaper case, air cooling) are aesthetic choices mainly, and you may feel its worth the decrease in performance. This list just gives you an idea of a bit more performance you could get.

Also have a look at B550 when its released today, and if its too pricey get an MSI B450

Hope this helps :)

went for a 2080 super. could go down to a 2070 super if you wanna save the money up to you. The performance is better but not game changing. I put a x570 board in there but b550 should start coming in today and tomorrow.
