Budget (including currency): £1000

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CoD, civ, Minecraft, GTA, Witcher 3

Other details New build from scratch:

Ryzen 5 3600

RTX 2070 Super

16GB RAM Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4

Seasonic 80+ Gold 500W

Crucial 500GB M.2 SSD

B450 MSI Gaming Plus Max ATX motherboard

Corsair R275 Airflow Mid-Tower

Question is, would the power supply cause issues in this build, we've used some PSU calculators and based on our usage we'd be between 390-490W power draw, cutting it close we know but we've already got the parts. We'd be willing to return and exchange it if it will cause major issues.

Note: no plans to overclock at all.

Thanks!

500w-550w will be plenty for your build. that corsair case is not that good. How much is corsair 220t airflow? it is much better.

I am currently in the process of having issues with my 2070 Super.
I did all the calculations as well and still get occasional blackouts or bluescreens on my pc while playing some games. (newly set up os)
i7 7700k, 2070 super, bequiet straight power 10 500W

Currently i am waiting for my new PSU with 650W to arrive, to see if it fixes the problem.
Yes my system also only takes around 440W on stress.

So i am just giving a second opinion to the previous post.

If it's just 30 bucks more then it doesn't hurt to have a little headway.

I can let you know how it went with the new PSU if you want.

Cheers

Blackouts and Bluesceeens can also happen with bad drivers etc. ddu the GPU drivers and reinstall.
