Do you have to reinstall your chipset drivers after wiping windows?

Yes. While Windows does install a "generic" version of it, it's usually also outdated. As such, it is preferable that you update your chipset driver (Intel or AMD) and your GPU drivers at the very least.

 

The rest, like Ethernet or Audio, can usually be skipped, unless you want certain features that are only available with the dedicated softwares that gets installed with the driver (if your onboard audio has an AMP, the generic windows driver won't let you use that, you'll need the actual driver)

Maybe ? I don't know which chipset you have. But usually, it provides better stability, thermals and all.
