Getting blue screen. 7f 8 error code

I recently built my first computer and I'm getting blue screen from time to time. When I view the event log I'm consistently getting a 7F 8 error code. 

So far I've:

Run a disk check

Ram diagnosis check

SFC scannow 

checked that I have the most up to date bios (I do, 2006 for my TUF B-450M Plus mobo)

and checked my SSD's health via crystal disk. 

 

So far.. nothing. No issues detected or fixed. I'm at my wits end and I'm not sure whats going on. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when it does it. It actually did it once while I was just having chrome up now, typing up this post. 

One solution I've read but haven't tried and I'm not sure how it will affect the pc otherwise is to disable memory caching. As I understand it this prevents the computer from using the cpu memory cache? How much will that affect my performance? are there any other solutions I've not tried yet?

Try running your RAM at a lower frequency - that was my problem when I first got my PC - I was trying to run my memory at its’ 4266 rated speed, but now I know for a fact that my motherboard can only handle 4,000 MHz. At least with using only 2 sticks. I’ve seen someone saying that you have to use 4 with Gskill to be able to utilize the full potential.....But that was only one claim I’ve ever seen, so I’m not sure until I either try that and/or replace my motherboard for a better one.

 

if that doesn’t work, I recommend following the steps in the “BSOD Posting instructions” post at the top of this forum, which would probably result in someone being able to pinpoint what is actually wrong
