rackmount case

Hi guys im thinking of changing from my pc case to a rackmount case but i have no clue what to look at so could someone suggest some online resources i can read and maybe list some things i will need. also what size case would i be looking at getting? my current case is a corsair obsidian 800D

 

any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated

Rack-mount chassis are pretty strait forward but can be limiting in certain factors. 4U's are pretty standard for most DIY projects. Do you have a ATX motherboard? You can pretty much just hop on websites like Newegg, filter by whatever U you like and peruse what they have for the price you want. You can get them with many 2.5"/3.5" storage bays and even 5.25" bays.
