If the new PC already had Windows installed on it, it will at least be able to re-active Windows on the new hardware....

BUT, when changing PC, you really should do a clean install to remove any and all possible driver issues.

 

If you want to use both the drive on the new PC and your old drive, it's as simple as just booting on one and formatting the other to erase windows.

How do you do what? Put the drive in the new PC? Just open the computer and plug it in.

My pc is booting from the hard drive that came with it. I need it to boot from the windows in my ssd, and not from the hard drive the came with it. How do I do this?

In the BIOS, change the boot order.

You might need to disable Secure Boot.
