Which one should I get?

I have a Acer KG241Q (TN, 75 hz, 300cd/m2) right now and am looking for another monitor with a higher refresh rate to pair with it. I am currently looking at the Tuf gaming VG249Q and the Asus VG248QG. I guess the tuf gaming would be good for watching content because of the IPS pannel but it does have a lower peak brightness (250 vs 350) so I do not know. I like the VG248QG 165 hz, lower price tag and the .5 ms. Although I doubt 144 hz and 1ms on the Tuf is really a difference maker. So which one should I get for gaming and watching content, would it be worth the extra 50 for the Tuf or just stick with the VG248QG?
