Hello everyone so ran into a small issue i cant figure out what i want to do..

 

i have an evga 2070 super xc gaming it takes one 8 pin power connector and a 6 pin power

on cable mod i have the option of a 8+6 cable or buying a 8 pin individual and 6 pin individual which leads to more cables in the case.

 

im assuming the 8+6 is is all id need however is there negatives to going that way with just 1 cable?

 

Never used cable mod before or even knew a 8+6 existed

Only if you're likely to get hung up over the aesthetics - your PSU should be able to handle it.
