For cleaning up junk files and such, CCleaner is pretty popular, I use it often. As for anti-virus and such, I basically just rely on Windows Defender and Malwarebytes.

I have been using Ccleaner and malwarebytes for years for my personal  PC. Just was not sure if there were better options out there.

To be honest, not from my experience. I have used some paid antivirus software in the past, usually on friends PCs, and they're universally terrible IMO. For non-enterprise uses, I think Malwarebytes + Windows Defender is adequate. I guess you could always pay for the premium version of malwarebytes if you want some of those extra features.

And i've never heard of any "cleaning" programs that are better than CCleaner, they may exist, just never heard of or used them.

Question: is it shared or business only PC?

On business only PC Defender backed up by Firewall, VPN and Enterprise Spybot Search and Destroy is what I would consider "safe" (make sure you use the machine without Administrator priviledges).

If it's otherwise "shared" machine, have your business files on different drive, preferable NAS with backup or something because most stories I hear from IT people is that people run their whole enterprise on a single PC and use it for gaming after hours and then suddenly there's no proper copy of anything, thus I'd suggest to get someone to actually setup correctly everything.

For spyware I use SuperAntiSpyware
