asus mobo

Z10pe d16 ws

Error code 67, or is it lower case b7? Or is it L9?

Anyways. I went to setup to check for why my boot seemed so slow. Happened to pass by cpu temp.

One of the xeon x5, was running at 103 Celsius and the other 60ish.

Looked that up and it seems the thermal paste wasn't enough. Sure enough I didn't do a good job like a year ago.

I had to disconnect the mobo power and move the ram to comfortably get at everything.

Checked that i put the ram in the correct slots. I did. Put new paste on, reconnected the power to mobo and fans.

Shonuff. Effing error code.

What to do oh sage ones?

Well im not expert on this but i would attack B7 instead of 67.
Maybe try to remove ram and put if back, making sure its really all the way. Maybe try with one stick/processor if one of them died for some odd reason?
Would be weird if it changed something in bios but i gues that is possible too.

Double check power connections.

Hopefully there is someone more experienced to help if the problem persists.
