What to upgrade?

I am asking for a friend. His pc: Intel I5 3gen

                                                  RX 580 OC 4GB

                                                  PSU: idk

 

So he wants to upgrade his CPU or GPU (only one), but he doesnt know what to upgrade (CPU or GPU) for what.

If more info needed just ask.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).
